From Rosa Emilia Dias' biography:
"My name is Rosa Emilia Dias. I’m a singer-songwriter from Bahia, Brazil, based in Italy since 1989. 80% of the population in Salvador is black. African culture gifted us with music, dance and recipes. My grandmother was a Mãe-de Santo, a spiritual leader in the Candomblé – a religion that came with the slaves from Africa. Thanks to her and the songs performed during rituals, I discovered my love for music and for the beat of  the drums.
I began to sing because it felt natural. To sing is to express joy and to celebrate. I used to find a spot between the skirts of the women performing in the Candomblé ceremonies and I sang, played and danced with them.
Guitars were a common feature of every home and party, so I often gathered with my friends for endless hours, singing the songs of our favourite artists."

Our catalogue condition is mint, excellent, and very good. We sell both new & 2nd hand vinyl. All the pre-owned records are carefully cleaned and checked by listening to them all. There is an infinite amount of love in what we do & respect for every record we sell. Once you come to pickup your music, we are at your disposal for any need.
